AUG 2026 | END OF SUMMER EVENT

We are open & roaring!

Our End of Summer Sale was more than a sales period. It was a way of celebrating Tiger & Lotus at a meaningful moment in our first year, marking our opening in 2025 with the kind of gathering that felt true to us: warm, spirited, and full of character.

It began on 21 August with You & Us, a private sales event for invited guests. Before the doors opened to the wider public, we wanted to create a more intimate evening for the people who had supported us from early on, and for those curious to step a little closer into the world of Tiger & Lotus. Guests arrived to an exclusive first look at our products, moving through the store at an easy pace, pausing over objects, asking questions, and spending time with the collection in a more personal way.

There was wine, cheese, and conversation flowing through the room. More than anything, there was warmth. Guests chatted with our owner, learnt more about the pieces, and shared stories of what caught their eye. It did not feel hurried. It felt like a house gathering in the language of Tiger & Lotus, where shopping was part discovery, part connection, and part celebration of the store we had built.

From 22 to 24 August, the sale continued for three more days, with selected items made available to a wider circle of visitors. Across the weekend, the energy stayed bright. People wandered in from Joo Chiat, browsed slowly, and found pieces to take home. Some came looking for gifts. Others came for something for their own space. The sale gave people a chance to encounter Tiger & Lotus in a slightly different way, not only through the objects themselves, but through the atmosphere around them.

What made this period especially memorable for our core team was everything that happened around the sale. In the lead-up, we spent days creating and sharing its story. Products were photographed and styled with care, not only in-store, but out in the nearby park and around the Joo Chiat neighbourhood. Those shoots brought a different kind of life to the pieces. Cushions, glassware, and home objects were placed in the grass under open skies. Everyday corners of the community became backdrops. The park, in particular, gave us some of the happiest moments. There was laughter between frames, small adjustments in the sunlight, and the easy kind of teamwork that turns work into memory.

We also prepared the sale by hand, in ways that felt tangible and close to the neighbourhood. Chalkboard drawings were made to catch the eye. Flyers were designed and placed around Joo Chiat, carrying the news of the sale through the streets around us. Each little effort added to the feeling that this was not just a promotion, but a local happening shaped by care.

Looking back, the Summer Sale was as much about people as it was about products. It gave us time with our guests, moments with our team, and a way to celebrate how far Tiger & Lotus had come in its opening year. Between the private evening of You & Us, the days of shopping that followed, and the laughter carried through the park and the neighbourhood, it became a chapter we will remember with real fondness.
