Lenten Rose Earrings

A wide open hellebore in pale pink and white, spotted with deep red and centred with fine yellow-green stamens worked in thread and bead. The flower is mapped closely enough that the freckled interior reads clearly, giving the piece a botanical accuracy that holds up at close range.
