Wonderful Pomegranate Earrings

A full pomegranate in deep red sequins and beads sits on a green embroidered stem, with small leaves and a pale bud worked in above and below. The fruit has a rounded, almost sculptural volume to it, while the foliage stays flat and fine by contrast.
